Cummins Engine Head Components
mainly comprise of Valve, Valve Inserts, Valve Guide, Valve Collet Locks and

- Valve [EXHAUST] is made of Steel [Quality : 21-12N]
- Valve Seat : Stellite Deposit Grade 12
- Valve Guide : Cast Iron Special Cast Steel
- Valve Seat : Molybdenum & Deposit Tribaloy - 400 added with iron bus steel
Valve –
- It provides gas entry and gas escape from the combustion chamber
- It transmits combustion heat to lubricant and coolant through the guides and the walls of the cylinder head
- Provides long-life seating area for the valve sealing
- Allows ease if replacement in high-wear area
- Lubricates and guides the valve stem
- Control lubrication of stem movement
